Mike has changed my life. Two months ago, I was looking to get rid of the dog my wife and I adopted from BARC. I contemplated why we got a dog in the first place, and why anyone would want a dog. Our dog was a tedious annoyance to my being. Two dog books and online sessions failed us. After one month with Mike’s help, I remembered why we got a dog. Our dog is playful, more obedient, and fun now. Two months with Mike’s help has our dog on her way to being the perfect pet. Before Mike, I couldn’t figure out what the dog wanted. It is clear that Mike speaks the language and knows what to do. If he can make Bailey a good dog, he can make any dog a good dog.

Brian Boucher:
Mike was a tremendous help to me when I was preparing to bring home a rescued pit bull puppy, and with counsel and suggestions when I was first settling in with my new dog. He gave me terrific advice on what questions to ask of the dog’s foster mother, what kind of behavior or misbehavior to expect when the dog arrived, how to treat the dog and how to think about having a new creature in my home. He recommended good books about canine behavior and training. Finally, one thing that really came through clearly and was very encouraging to me was Mike’s love for and real enjoyment of dogs. His dog-positive attitude made me very confident in the soundness of all his advice
